The Matt Dunnam Band was formed in the fall of 1999 during the completion of Matt's 1st album "Red River Outlaw." After five years of road work playing with some of the biggest acts in the Texas music scene (such as Pat Green, Gary P. Nunn, David Allan Coe, Reckless Kelly, etc.), the band went to work on their next full length recording.
The resulting album, "Roadside Theater," was released in early 2005. Produced by famed guitarist Kenny Grimes and featuring a duet with Joe Ely on the song "Flatlands," the disc is getting airplay throughout the Texas independent radio market, as well as other areas of the country.
The Matt Dunnam Band playing "live" is a great experience, delivering a driving "roadhouse" feel and sound that is welcomed by a wide audience of varied musical tastes. Catch a show, buy a disc, ...get some!
